Singing to Seniors

Last Sunday afternoon (December 11th), a group of about 15 singers & musicians visited a Seniors' residence on the Donway (near Lawrence & Don Mills) in order to bring the message of Christ to the seniors living there.

We sang songs like "Hark the Herald," "Silent Night, Holy Night" & "While Shepherds Watched their Flocks." We also sang the contemporary song, "You're Beautiful".

The singing was accompanied by some sharing from Hazel & Nigel, and also by an instrumental recital from John & Jasmin (guitars) & Manny (piano).

There were close to 30 residents who attended our "Song Fest." We all were happy to use our voices & other talents in order to bring the joy of the Lord to the residents.

  1. it was such an experience i would love to go through again and again... it is not about the singing but more of seeing our seniors being blest by the messages the songs bring to their hearts... a moment of them opening their hearts and minds to the truth of GOD... our CREATOR and theirs... praise the LORD for HIS goodness!
